Martin Eberhard FOELSCH

 

German Ministry of Finance (BMF), Senior Legal Expert

Graduated from the university of Tübingen in 1994 and as a fully qualified lawyer in 1996. Before joining BMF in 2004 he worked as a lawyer in the legal departments of RHEINHYP, Rheinische Hypothekenbank AG and Deutsche Börse AG, the operating company of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Since 2004, Martin Eberhard Foelsch has been working as an legal expert for BMF in the securities and exchange section. The section mainly supports the development of German and European securities and exchange law including the draft of legislative acts and negotiations in international committees (such as ESC). Martin Eberhard Foelsch was involved in the implementation of the Market Abuse Directive, the Prospectus Directive and the “MiFID” into German law. In the Twinning Project with the Turkish CMB he acts as the component leader for the Project part implementation of the EU capital markets directives into Turkish law.
